TCS Bags SCI Contract

TCS has bagged the contract to implement end-to-end solutions for the Shipping
Corporation of India. The contract, including automization, is for 22 months.
TCS will implement software solutions which will enable SCI to connect ships
plying anywhere to headquarters. This is a part of the automization program
launched by SCI to compete with private and international shipping companies.

SAP Powers HCC in Kashmir

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has gone live with SAP at its two
hydro-electric project sites located at Chutak in Kargil (10,000 feet above the
sea level) and Nimo Bazgo (11,000 feet) in Leh. The project named Sankalp, would
ensure all HCC's offices and sites continuously have access to an integrated
database online.

Kale-SkyTeam Deal

Kale Consultants has announced that SkyTeam, the global airline alliance,
has selected its APEX as a neutral Fare Proradon (NFP) engine for IATA's First
& Final (F&F) Billing Service. With this development, the entire
alliance of SkyTeam of 10 carriers, including Air France, KLM, Korean Air,
Alitalia, CSA, Aeromexico and Aeroflot, have been added to Kale's customer
list.

Nipuna Wins $25mn Deal

Nipuna Services, Satyam's BPO subsidiary, has signed a $25mn edutainment deal
with 4K Animation Limited, UK for the execution and delivery of two European
animation projects. The contract is one of the largest ever won by a global BPO
service provider in the animation marketplace.

Tech Mahindra's Five-year BT Deal

Tech Mahindra has signed a five-year deal to provide BT with strategic
sourcing services. This contract is expected to create new revenue for the
company in excess of $1bn over this period. The company will support BT's
planned growth of managed services to business customers around the globe and
continue to provide ongoing services related to BT's internal systems,
processes and re-usable platforms.

HCL-Skandia's $200 mn Deal

HCL Technologies has announced a $200 mn, multi-service, five-year contract with
Skandia UK. Skandia will outsource application optimization, including
development, maintenance and support across all platforms, and remote
infrastructure management to HCL. It will retain all customer-facing activities.
HCL will enable and accelerate Skandia UK's move to Service Orientated
Architecture.

Ness Bags Quintiles Contract

Ness Technologies has bagged a multi-million dollar contract from Quintiles
Transnational Corp, a provider of pharmaceutical and biotech services. The
project entails application development, testing and maintenance services in the
clinical, laboratory and product commercialization domains. Ness plans to
establish a Quintiles Extended Development and Testing Center in Bangalore to
execute the project.
