Dassault PLM @ Westside
Dassault Systmes has announced that Trent, a Tata Group company and operator of
Trent Westside, would deploy the ENOVIA Apparel Accelerator for design and
development. The ENOVIA Accelerator, which would take nine weeks to implement,
would integrate with their existing ERP systems to provide Trent with greater
visibility into the new product development process. This approach would enable
the company to reduce sample development time and increase seasonal options by
leveraging the market knowledge, and design capabilities of key suppliers while
also tracking commodity prices to negotiate better costs with them.
ElectraCard to Process LIC Credit Cards
ElectraCard Services (ECS), a provider in electronic payment solutions, has won
a contract from Corporation Bank for end-to-end processing of LIC credit cards.
The bank would issue white label credit cards on behalf of LIC Cards Services, a
company owned by the LIC of India. LIC of India plans to leverage its ready
database of $235 mn policyholders to issue these cards in the first phase of
roll out. It also plans to launch a facility to pay LIC premiums using the
credit card.
Religare Picks Nucleus FinnOne
Religare Finvest (RFL), a subsidiary of Religare Enterprises, has chosen
Nucleus FinnOne suite to power its credit valuation, loan disbursal and
collection processes across India. RFL selected FinnOne for credit evaluation,
efficiency in loan disbursal and collection across all branches. RFL is
aggressive in the financial services arena across India offering three
productsMortgage, SME and Commercial Assets. All three would be catered by
FinnOne through auto, personal and home loan products.
Atoms Tie-up with Insurance Majors
Atom Technologies, a leading mobile-payment service provider has tied up
with major insurance companies including Apollo DKV, ICICI Lombard General
Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Reliance General Insurance and Royal
Sundaram General Insurance, for its Atom Payments platform. This service offers
the convenience of making premium payments in a hassle-free and time-saving
manner just by their using their phone and credit cards.
NIIT to Power Singapore Map
The Singapore Land Authority recently awarded the contract to develop its
Intelligent Map System to NIIT GIS. The system is envisaged to be the next
generation mapping portal for various government and private agencies including
citizens of Singapore enabling them to share spatial content using internet
services, accessible on desktop and mobile platforms. It will be designed to
serve a common base map of Singapore for displaying location information along
with intelligent search and navigation tools. It will facilitate multiple
agencies to mash up spatial content and provide a variety of useful information
in an integrated environment. NIIT GIS will develop the system using
industry-leading ESRI ArcGIS Server technologythe first in the industry to
provide mash up capability and implement it on a turnkey basis.
