AP Banks on HP



Andhra Bank has selected HP India as its partner of choice for implementing

a comprehensive core banking solution (CBS). Infosys Finacle Core Banking

Solution will be deployed over a five-year period. This initiative will enable

Andhra Bank to achieve significant cost advantages and better business outcomes

in the banking arena in India.

Telelogic, Thales Ink Deal



Telelogic announced that it has signed a four-year strategic 10 mn agreement

with Thales for the provision of licenses and maintenance. The agreement

includes a new license and maintenance on their existing investment for;

Telelogic DOORS, Telelogic Rhapsody for model driven development of embedded

systems and system architect for enterprise architecture and business process

modeling.

The Park Deploys SAP ERP



The Park Group of Hotels has announced that it has gone live on the SAP ERP-Human

Capital Management (HCM) solution in its quest to optimize human resource

management and bring about standardization and integration across the

organization. The solution was implemented by TCS across The Park units in

Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Vizag.

Huawei, ITU sign MoU



Huawei Technologies has announced that it has signed an MoU with the

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to jointly promote ICT development

in developing countries. Huawei and ITU will work together to improve

connectivity in rural and remote areas in emerging markets, as well as to close

gaps in broadband backbone networks.
