Dataquest T-Schools Higher Education Awards 2021

The concluding part of the Dataquest T-Schools Higher Education Conference and Awards 2021 event saw awards being given out to various colleges.

Dataquest 16th annual survey was on ranking of the top 100 engineering colleges in India. A survey was undertaken by Dataquest, along with by CyberMedia Research (CMR), in Digital Index, Employability Index, and Overall Survey across Parameters -- Placement, Infrastructure, Industry-Academia Partnership, and Academics.

Dataquest gave away the awards to top colleges based on the three surveys held this year, on the current trends in technology education and recruitments.

• T-Schools in new normal: How they rank up.
  
  The Dataquest Top T-School Survey 2021 gives a comprehensive view of the top institutes in India and the rapidly changing landscape in the post-pandemic era. The survey, which is an industry acclaimed hallmark on technical education and is highly trusted by students, parents and recruiters alike, was out with its 16th edition. The survey focused on T-Schools and their contribution to key skills in the technology industry, and ranked them through a comprehensive evaluation process.

• From Classroom to Boardroom: Decoding T-School Readiness on Employability.

The survey on the employability of T-School graduates in India show emerging trends brought about by the pandemic and how the education sector needs to adapt to them.

A new study by DQ and CMR around employability shows how different educational institutes performed when it came to securing placement for their students amid the raging pandemic. This was measured by Employability Index, which means possessing a set of qualifications, skills, understandings and personal attributes that make students likely to gain employment and be successful in their chosen occupations.

Many firms ascribe the lack of employability to problems in our educational system because they spend the first three months of their new employees’ training on skills essential to accomplish business objectives. Employability is about a broader range of talents and traits that will allow you to be successful throughout your working life, and not just landing a job. Employability is defined as the ability of being suitable for paid work. Dataquest has tried to look into the broader picture on the top institutions that can provide new graduates a suitable runway to take off their career.
