Nanao Banana Pro is an upgraded version of the previous model, Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image). The models’ core strength lies in its enhanced reasoning. The tool creates visuals that create current, real-world information. The nehancemnet allows users to genrrate accurate educational diagrams, recipe guides, or inforgraphics incorporating updated facts.

Targets professional workflows

Google states the new model generates clean, legible text directly inside images across multiple languages. Designers now create product mock-ups, posters, and branding layouts with confidence. The model leverages Gemini 3’s multilingual reasoning to translate and localise text within a visual asset without disrupting the image style.

The new tool supports higher resolutions, producing images in 2K and 4K quality. This provides output suitable for professional print or high-resolution displays.

Availability and safety

Nano Banana Pro is rolling out across Google’s product ecosystem. Consumers can access the model within the Gemini application, where it is the default image generation tool. Paid Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers receive higher usage limits. In the U.S., the model is available in AI Mode within Google Search for Pro and Ultra members.

For businesses and developers, the model integrates into Google Workspace applications, including Slides and Vids. Developers access the model through the Gemini API and Vertex AI for enterprise solutions.

Google continues its focus on responsible AI practices. Every image generated by Nano Banana Pro embeds an imperceptible digital watermark called SynthID. This feature allows users to verify whether Google’s AI created a specific image. While free and Pro users see a visible watermark, Google removes this mark for AI Ultra subscribers to meet professional requirements for clean visual assets.
