Deloitte India and AWS sign four-year pact to drive agentic AI

Deloitte India and AWS have inked a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA). The partnership positions Deloitte India as the first global system integrator in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region to collaborate with AWS at this scale.

The initiative aims to build on Deloitte’s global experience with AWS-led transformation programs in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, while focusing on India’s high-growth sectors such as financial services, public sector, manufacturing, and energy.

India’s first AWS Agentic AI Lab

A central highlight of the agreement is the launch of India’s first AWS Agentic AI Lab, which will operate under Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Agentic AI Centre of Excellence. The lab will leverage Amazon Bedrock Agents and AgentCore to design and deploy AI-driven solutions targeting real-world challenges—ranging from financial inefficiencies and compliance issues to customer engagement gaps.

Teams of AI specialists, data engineers, and full-stack developers will work together to create industry-focused applications spanning finance, HR, compliance, and marketing.

Centre of Excellence and Industry 4.0 innovation

The new Deloitte AWS Centre of Excellence will serve as a dedicated unit of engineers, sales specialists, and industry consultants to fast-track AWS-powered solutions for Indian clients. The CoE will help shorten rollout timelines and introduce sector-specific digital products, including Deloitte’s ConvergePROSPERITY BankingSuite for financial services and Digital Public Goods for the public sector.

The collaboration also extends intoIndustry 4.0, bringing IoT-enabled smart manufacturing innovations to Indian conglomerates and industrial ecosystems.

Immersive innovation at Deloitte’s CX Zone

A new customer experience (CX) zone at Deloitte’s Centre for Innovation & Technology in Bangalore will showcase live demos of AWS-powered solutions, including those built on Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Connect. The zone aims to create an immersive environment where enterprises can explore cloud and AI use cases hands-on.

Expanding access through AWS Marketplace

To broaden its reach, Deloitte will list its SaaS and AI offerings under the AI Agents and Tools category on AWS Marketplace. With over 100 Deloitte listings already live, this move enables enterprises to quickly deploy cloud-native solutions through an on-demand model.
