CSS Corp assessed for Level 3 of P-CMM

CSS Corp, a global information and communications technology company, today said that it has been successfully assessed and appraised for Level 3 of P-CMM -- a quality framework developed by Software Engineering Institute (SEI), USA, for elevating the people processes.

This achievement was as per the P-CMM model assessment through the SCAMPI appraisal method defined by SEI duly carried out by SEI partner KPMG. With this, CSS Corp joins an elite group of P-CMM appraised companies across the globe.

P-CMM is designed to help organizations characterize the maturity of their workforce practices, create a program for continuous workforce development, prioritize improvement actions, integrate people development with improved processes and establish a culture of excellence.

The P-CMM model consists of five maturity levels which include Initial, Managed, Defined, Predictable, and Optimizing. The ‘Defined Level' (Level - 3) focuses on structured people processes with a thrust on competency-based practices.
