CSIR UGC NET 2020 Online Applications Re-opened, Fresh Registrations Being Accepted

National Testing Agency has re-opened the online application process for CSIR UGC NET 2020 as several students were unable to fill-up the application

CSIR UGC NET 2020 online applications have been re-opened yet again by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA says that this decision has been taken to help students who have not been able to complete the application process or submit online application form for CSIR UGC NET 2020 due to situations arising out of COVID-19. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting CSIR-UGC NET in computer based test mode to NTA.

Interested students can now fill up the online application form until 10 September 2020 on the csirnet.nta.nic.in website. While the submission of online application form will be accepted until 5 pm IST, and online application fee through credit, debit, net banking and PayTm will be accepted until 11:50 PM IST until 10 September 2020.

Also, corrections in the particulars and centre cities in online application forms will be operational for week from 11 September 2020 to 17 September 2020. CSIR and UGC provide research fellowships for training in methods of research under expert guidance of faculty members, scientists working in university department, national laboratories and institutions in various fields of science. CSIR UGC NET 2020 fellowships are tenable in universities, IITs, post graduate colleges and government.

CSIR UGC NET, which is held twice a year, is being conducted to determine the eligibility ‘for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship or Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
