In an interaction with Dataquest, Hriday Biyani, Director and Co- founder, Diadem Technologies shared the story of his journey in the IT industry so far and his work experiences with Crayon Software.

Q. Tell us about your company.

A. We are a 15+ year old company and are in business since 2000. We are internally funded and a zero debt entity since inception with a strong focus on providing state of the art hosted solutions to over 1500+ clients. Our web and application hosting services are used by leading brands and organisations like Hewlett Packard India, Emami Biotech, Turtle Limited, Yes Bank, Supertron Ltd, BiskFarm, Microtek, Manyavar, Wonderchef, Ittiam Systems, JIVA Ayurveda and other organizations who need a secure, highly available and redundant datacenter with hosting environment backed with 99.95% uptime SLA and 24×7 technical support.

Q. Tell us about your journey with Crayon Software so far.

A. Our journey with Crayon started 6 years back during the time of Kryptos. After Kryptos was acquired by Crayon Software, Diadem became a cloud T2 reseller for Microsoft Azure with Crayons Cloud IQ Program. With Crayon, we have expanded our service offerings. Now we have added Redhat, Zimbra, Plesk, Mailstore, Globalsign and other leading cloud software providers to our portfolio. Crayon has supported us to become a trusted provider in front of customers .

Q. How does a Crayon solution help your customers to grow?

A. There is huge demand for Crayon solutions in the market. We are helping customers realize their goals by digitally building their organization. While companies are looking for solutions through Crayon partners, Crayon is helping us to meet customer needs.

Q. How can customers leverage the different solutions offered by Crayon Software?

A. Crayon does not work directly with end customers. Once the partners are educated and trained about the Crayon solutions, the partners become efficient enough to deploy the solution. Crayon helps us to come on-board and to understand its solutions and services.

Q. What are the different training programmes offered by Crayon to understand the latest technology?

A. Being a Redhat CSP, we were trained through a series of webinars form Radhat organised by Crayon Software on the current open source technology. These   training sessions are very helpful as they make us aware about all the solutions. Apart from this, there are already proposed training sessions for partners in the future.

Q. What are technologies services receiving maximum traction?

A. Security, Cloud backup and DR solutions are receiving the maximum traction. They reserve huge potential and are upcoming growth opportunities. However, our standard solutions like public cloud hosting are also witnessing tremendous growth. Hybrid and multi-cloud solutions which are more cost effective require us to work closely with Crayon as a partner so as to leverage their knowledge to deploy these solutions.

Q. What are your future plans?

A. In the next 12-18 months, we like to transform ourselves from hosting provider to a complete full fledged managed services provider which is involved in multi cloud solutions and is also offering hybrid cloud and DR-as-a-service along with endpoint security.
