Godrej Infotech Limited is a 100% subsidiary of $4 Billion conglomerate, Godrej & Boyce. Godrej Infotech (GITL), has been an IT Services provider for the parent company since 1971 as a business unit and subsequently became a separate company in 1997, and started providing services to external customers.

We started serving the India-based customers and eventually evolved in spreading the footprint to the Middle East market by setting up a branch in Sharjah. GITL expanded its horizon by setting-up operations in Belgium to cater to the European market and subsequently subsidiaries in Singapore and the USA for the respective geographies.

We have been focused towards ERP services with all the leading cloud aggregators all these years, but in the last few years have expanded our technology portfolio from the Infrastructure/database layer and moving up to the cloud layer, packaging the application and new technology components of CRM, Analytics, Mobility, AI/ML, IIoT, Data Science, etc. to drive our Digital Transformation initiative.

Tell us about your journey with Crayon Software so far.

While we embarked on the Cloud initiative using the cloud platform of leading cloud aggregators, we were looking for a partner who can enable us further in this business initiative. Around the same time about a year back, we got connected to the Crayon Software team, and after discussions, we found an excellent synergy between both the companies. This enabled us to expand our offering to our Customers and Prospects, and also get a platform to leverage the partner network provided by Crayon across multiple technology solutions and ramp-up as per the business needs.

This makes it convenient for our customers to do business with one shop stop vendor. Additionally, considering that Crayon is a global company, it also aligns with our global Customer footprint.

Crayon Software periodically holds partner and principal meet where specific product features and solutions are presented. We attended meets where we understood the availability of Robotic Document processing, cloud backup solution, economical cloud and different pieces of training of leading cloud aggregators.

What are your future plans?

Digital Initiative is one of the key drivers in this journey, and we are focused on driving solutions to meet customers' business outcomes and enabling them to leverage our business model and technology solution offering.
