According to the news source, the students would strengthen their abilities in accordance with market expectations as a result of this internship. Aside from that, after going to the fields and projects, the students will have to focus on community outreach. Working with business houses can help to operate the internship programme. Graduate and post-graduate students will have a variety of course options. Additional certificate and diploma courses must be developed to give students more possibilities.

What exactly is a Professor of Practice?

Professors of Practice are those whose primary vocation is not teaching and who possess no Doctorate. Nonetheless, depending on their professional expertise, they might be assigned to instruct pupils. The UGC has written to Higher Education Institutions on the appointment of a Professor of Practice. In the letter to vice-chancellors of universities and principals of colleges, it is requested that they make the required revisions to their institutions' policies to appoint Professors of Practice. The UGC has also asked that the work progress in this area be shared on its official websites. The guidelines for appointing a Professor of Practice have been made public.
