CDK Global (formerly ADP Dealer Services) launches operations in India

CDK Global (Nasdaq: CDK), a global leader in providing integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions for the automotive retail industry, with nearly US$ 2billion revenues and approximately 9,000 associates globally, today announced the launch of its new India operations. Operating in India as CDK Global (India), the company inaugurated its state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad in Raheja Mindspace, HITEC City, and in Pune in Yerwada

CDK Global was spun off from Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADP), a world leader in providing Human Capital Management Solutions, in October 2014.

Commenting on the launch of its India Operations Steven J. Anenen, Chief Executive Officer – CDK Global said, “CDK Global’s Indian operations are important to supporting our strategic goals, and will help our global operations to leverage the technical expertise of the Indian talent pool.

With the launch of its state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad and Pune, CDK Global India will initially employ around 800 associates, with 500 in Hyderabad and 300 in Pune. The Indian team will be central to CDK Global’s strategic operations by providing Product Development, R&D, Customer Support, etc. The Hyderabad facility includes approximately 100,000 sq.ft., while the Pune facility consists of 56,000 sq. ft.

From India we will be contributing immensely and will be central to delivering some of the most exciting product development work on advanced technologies for our global operations. We are looking forward to expand our operations in India in the coming years” added Reddy Malledi, Managing Director – CDK Global (India).

Background on the spin-off

ADP spun-off its Dealer Services Division, now known as CDK Global, in 2014, allowing CDK Global to focus its strategy and efforts exclusively on the global automotive vertical. The global automotive market is the strongest it has been since 2007, and the volume of U.S. vehicle sales continues its recovery to pre-crisis levels. CDK Global currently serves over 26,000 customers in 100 countries.
