CBSE Invites Applications from School Students for Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020, Participants to Receive Certificates

CBSE is hosting the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020 for school students on the DIKSHA platform to reach out to maximum students across the country

CBSE has announced the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020 and has invited school students from classes 8 to 10 irrespective of the board to take part in the challenge. CBSE has started the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge last year to promote applying mathematics in daily life with proper reasoning and assumptions through a computer-based test. In order to reach out to maximum students across the country, this year the Central Board of Secondary Education is hosting the challenge on the DIKSHA platform.

The challenge will be available on the DIKSHA platform from 12 to 25 November 2020. Participation certificates will be issued online to students who complete the challenge after fourteen days on the DIKSHA platform itself. Students must take care to enter their correct names in the DIKSHA profile, and must also have the latest version of DIKSHA App, or access to the DIKSHA website to receive certificates.

How to Take Part in the CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020?

To take part in the challenge, participants need to first join the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020 course on DIKSHA Platform. Before attempting the challenge, students can access the following modules of the course:

  • Introduction to the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020 course.
  • Video on Algebra and reading material on Srinivas Ramanjun developed by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
  • Aryabhata Ganit practice set that consists of Mathematics questions.

After completion of these modules, students can then take the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020.

How to Register for CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020?

Interested students can register for free on the DIKSHA platform by clicking on the Register here button or with an existing Google account by clicking on the Sign in with Google button. The students will then have to reach the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020, after which the students will have to choose Join Course to register.
