CBSE Exam 2020 dates for students in the 12th standard have been announced. The CBSE Board and HRD Ministry after reviewing the situation in all the states and foreign countries have now decided to hold the pending CBSE Exam 2020 from 1 July 2020 to 15 July 2020.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has to conduct examinations for 28 papers for 12th standard students as well as 10th standard students from North-East Delhi. The board examinations that were initially supposed to be held between 19 March 2020 and 31 March 2020 were postponed after receiving instructions from the Secretary, Department of Higher Education and School Education and Literacy, Government of India in view of the Coronavirus situation in the country.
The remaining paper are Business Studies, Geography, Hindi (Elective), Hindi (Core), Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science (Old), English Elective - N, English Elective -C, English Core, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, Political Science, History, Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Information Practice, Information Technology, Bio-Technology, and so on.
The HRD Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in a recently held webinar announced that, CBSE will assess the loss of instructional time for a proportionate reduction in curriculum load for Exams. In accordance, Course Committees of the Board has initiated work on the reduced syllabus in various scenarios.
The minister also stated that no examinations will be held for class X students nationwide, except for students from North-East Delhi, and an adequate time of 10 days will be given to all students for the preparation of exams.
When will the CBSE Exam 2020 be Held?
The HRD Minister has just tweeted that “Since a long time the dates of the remaining exams of 10th and 12th CBSE exams were awaited. Today the date of these examinations has been fixed between 1.07.2020 to 15.07.2020. I convey my best wishes to all the students who will participate in this examination.”
