CBSE has recently responded to students saying as decided, a decision with regard to conducting CBSE 12 board exams 2021 would be announced by June 2021. Nevertheless, this has still not students from putting forth their concerns to the Government of India.

How Does Postponing CBSE 12 Board Exams 2021 Help, Ask Students

While it was imperative for the Ministry of Education to postpone examinations to ensure the well-being of examiners and examinees, postponing examinations any further may lead to problems, say students. Furthermore, the situation is unpredictable, therefore there is uncertainty regarding when the circumstances will be conducive to hold examinations, they say. Apart from that, all other competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE Mains, UGC NET and GATE among others will also have to be postponed if CBSE 12 board exams are further postponed.

Optional CBSE 12 Board Exams 2021 the Only Way Out

Students opine that CBSE 12 board exams 2021 should be made optional considering the situation. All students may be promoted based on their internal assessment, and only students who wish to improve their grades should be asked to attend examinations, they say, “Looking at the current situation of India, the only best solution now is to either cancel 12th exams or to make it optional. We can't risk the life of lakhs of students, teachers and staff. Please understand the situation,” says a student. That said, the Government of India has made it clear that any decision regarding the examinations will only be announced in June, and a new schedule will be announced 15 days prior to the examination.
