The Common Admission Test 2023(CAT 2023) conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, is nearing its registration deadline. Those candidates who are interested in appearing for CAT 2023 need to complete their registration by September 13, 2023, at 5:00 pm. Candidates are encouraged for early registration to ensure a hassle-free process.
CAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2023, on Sunday. The examination will be conducted in three different sessions. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will take place in approximately 155 cities across India.
Who's eligible to appear for CAT 2023?
Candidates applying for CAT 2023 should meet the following prerequisites if they are interested to appear for CAT 2023.
- Completed a Bachelor's degree with the required percentage of marks.
- Completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with the required percentage.
- Should be in the final year of a Bachelor's degree with the required percentage.
(Note:- For General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required while SC/ST/PwD candidates should have a minimum of 45%)
When will the CAT 2023 admission process start?
CAT 2023 results are expected to be announced in the second week of January 2024. And the scores obtained by candidates will remain valid until 31st December 2024. Candidates should be aware of the fact that their performance in the CAT 2023 examination carries a significant value in the selection process in the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The institutes may also take candidates' prior academic achievements, relevant work experience, and similar qualifications under consideration during the shortlisting stages of the selection process.
It must be noted that candidates must maintain an active and unique email address along with a valid mobile number throughout the selection process. This will ensure that the candidates receive timely updates and essential information regarding CAT 2023 and their admission.
