OnMobile Announces IPO
OnMobile Global, a value-added software products and services provider, has
announced its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of over 1.09 crore equity shares.
Through this, the company plans to purchase equipment for its offices at
Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi and customer sites meet working capital
requirements, repay loan, and fund expenditures for general corporate purposes.
The company will make a fresh issue of 86,13,356 equity shares and an offer sale
for 22,87,189 shares to raise over Rs 409 crore.
The equity shares will be listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and
the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
Qualified Institutional Buyers will be allocated at least 60% of the issue.
Out of this, 5% would be made available to mutual funds. At least 10% of the
issue will go to non-institutional bidders while not less than 30% will be
allocated to retail individual bidders.
Sony Ericsson Gets F-Secure Security
F-Secure has announced the availability of its Mobile Security product for
the UIQ platform. F-Secure and Sony Ericsson are partnering on supplying mobile
security to Sony Ericssons smartphones. The F-Secure Mobile Security 3.3 for
UIQ combines an integrated antivirus and firewall. A trial version of the
F-Secure Mobile Security(TM) 3.3 for UIQ will be available in select Sony
Ericsson UIQ devices.

Mobile Advertising from IMImobile
IMImobile, a provider of value-added services to mobile telecom operators and
content owners, has announced commencement of pre-launch trials of its Ad-Ring
mobile advertisement platform. Ad-Ring is expected to launch commercially in the
first quarter of 2008.
Ad-Ring is a fully integrated mobile advertising platform that provides an
environment in which multi-format ad campaigns can be created and delivered to
consumers via mediums including SMS, MMS, voice, WAP portal, caller ring back

Sybase 365, C-SAM Partner
Sybase 365, provider of mobile messaging services, has announced its
partnership with C-SAM to extend its mobile banking platform, Sybase mBanking
365 to include a downloadable Java and NFC compatible client. Retail and
commercial banks can now offer mobile banking services through SMS, WAP, and a
downloadable Java client.
Matthew Talbot, vice president, mCommerce, Sybase 365, says, Adding the

for mobile banking services.

Golden Peacock for Spice Golden Peacock Awards Committee awarded the Golden Peacock Innovative Product Award -2007 to Spice Mobiles for its path breaking offering, D-88, the Dual Sim Phone (CDMA-GSM).
