To accelerate company expansion and growth, Comviva, the world leader in customer experience and data monetisation solutions, today announced the appointment of essential leaders in the North American and European markets. In an expanding digital economy, the new leaders' primary goal will be to further Comviva's strategic vision, centering on expanding the company's market reach and strengthening customer connections.
Ian Paul Smith will lead the business in North America.
As the new Head of North America's Direct Business Market Unit, Ian Paul Smith will lead the business in North America. He will be responsible for forming and upholding strategic alliances and collaborations with the local telcos. Ian has over 20 years of experience in top management and sales leadership positions at Tier 1 global technology firms. Ian held top sales and business development positions at Ericsson and Microsoft before leading Amdocs' digital transformation sales most recently.
The European business has been further split into two autonomous, focused sub-regions, Europe 1 and Europe 2, due to an unduly elevated focus on expanding the Comviva company in Europe. A senior leader oversees each sub-region to improve depth and focus with European Telecom clients.

Formerly serving as MTN Group's Chief Information Officer (CIO), Rishi has expertise in high-level technology leadership positions. In addition, Rishi serves as Comviva's Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) and has extensive experience managing telecom clients across the globe.
