BSNL Recruitment 2019: BSNL Hiring Electrical, Civil Engineers; Salary Rs 16,400 to 40,500

BSNL Recruitment 2019 notification has been unveiled, and there are several job openings that engineers can apply for online. BSNL Recruitment 2019 notification states that about 198 numbers of graduate engineers will be recruited for the post of BSNL JTO (Civil) and JTO (Electrical) under special recruitment drive for SC, ST and OBC from open market/external candidates through GATE SCORE-2019.

An advertisement regarding the same was published on the official BSNL website on 10 September 2018. Engineering candidates interested in the jobs will have to shall appear in GATE-2019, which will be conducted by IIT Madras, Chennai in the month of February 2019, and also need to get their candidature registered in BSNL. No further examinations will be conducted for the BSNL JTO posts.

Eligibility Criteria for the BSNL JTO Post as per the BSNL Recruitment 2019 Notification

Indian SC, ST, and OBC candidates who possess a BE, BTech or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering for BSNL JTO (Civil) and in Electrical Engineering for BSNL JTO (Electrical) from a recognized Institution or University, as well as those who appear in GATE exam 2019, opting one paper from selected two disciplines of GATE paper codes i.e. Electrical (EE) and Civil(CE), are eligible to apply.

All the willing candidates must have a GATE Registration ID (13 digits) for applying for BSNL JTO(Civil) and BSNL JTO(Electrical) online Registration. Candidates should not be below 18 and above 30 years of age on the last date of receiving the online application; however, there is a certain age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. Candidates will also have to choose one particular circle where they would be required to serve BSNL, and multiple circle registration for the same is not allowed.

Upon the declaration of GATE-2019 result, the circle wise merit list will be prepared based on the GATE Score-2019 and available vacancy of the circle. BSNL shall not conduct any further Examination or interview for the selection of the candidates for the recruitment of Direct BSNL JTO posts.

Also, just the appearance of the name in BSNL’s merit-list does not mean that the candidate is entitled to employment. A final call or appointment letter will be issued to the candidate after completion of all other formalities, says the BSNL Recruitment 2019 notification.

How to Apply for BSNL Recruitment 2019 Online

Candidates applying for BSNL JTO posts are required to apply online for which link will be provided

On the official BSNL website. The only mode of application is through online and the same will commence from 11 February 2019 and will be closed on 12 March 2019.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 for OBC candidates and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates, and the payment will be expected via online modes such as Internet Banking, Credit Card, and Debit Card only. The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstance. The selected candidates care eligible to get paid a salary of Rs 16,400 to Rs.40,500 as per 2nd PRC with annual increment at 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc. admissible as per BSNL Company rules.
