One of the first Indian BPO companies, Daksh has emerged as an important
component in IBM's global scheme of things-moving from being a hardware
player to IT services to being a business services company.
The year saw Daksh emerge as a strong BTO player and increasing its installed
customer base by over 100%. While the joint selling initiative with IBM helped
it bag the major Bharti deal, a key factor fueling client demand for its
services is its ability to integrate the complete spectrum of IBM capabilities
across research, development and consulting, distilled into high-value solutions
and replicable tools. One such tool, ProACT, automates the analysis of customer
satisfaction surveys to improve the real-time effectiveness of an email-based
customer help desk operations.
