Board of Practical Training Eastern Region, Kolkata is currently accepting applications from engineering graduates for a virtual job fair being conducted to engage apprentices at reputed central government, state government and private organizations. The candidates selected for the apprenticeship or one year on the job training will also be paid a monthly stipend. The virtual job fair being organised as part of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is for engineering graduates in Odisha.
Who can Apply for the Virtual Job Fair by Board of Practical Training Eastern Region?
The virtual job fair for apprentices selection is an online event, which is organised by Board of Practical Training Eastern Region, Kolkata from 28 November to 5 December 2020. Candidates who have passed their BE, BTech, or Diploma in engineering from the following streams in the years 2018, 2019, and 2020 can apply for the apprenticeship positions:
- Mechanical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Civil engineering
- Metallurgy
- Instrumentation engineering
Apprenticeships are currently available at Sparc Limited, Gupta Power and Infrastructure Limited, Rungta Mines Limited, Kurl-on Limited and MGM Mines Limited. While filling the online application, candidates have the option to choose the company they wish to work in.
How to Apply for the Virtual Job Fair by Board of Practical Training Eastern Region?
While the virtual fair is being held from 28 November to 5 December 2020, the last date to register for the event is 26 November 2020. Candidates will have to fill an online Google form, and the name and photo associated with the Google account will be recorded when files are uploaded and the form is submitted. Also, candidates should have enrolled on the NATS portal, and should have their NATS enrollment ID or user ID.
