1. Price: Today a 16 GB iPhone 4 is available for a price tag of below Rs 30,000 (in India). Most (not all) competing high-end Android phones and Windows Phones sell for less than Rs 40000.

2. BBM: Increasing user-base of WhatsApp, Viber, Tango, etc. makes BBM less exclusive.

3. Innovation: The mobile is low on innovative consumer-oriented features. Built-in social networking as well as active frames on the home screen appear inspired from Windows Phone which has it since 2010. Limiting the no. of devices to 2 is inspired from Apple's iPhone being the only phone with iOS, which is a tradition since years, and support for sideloading of apps is one of Android's key selling

points in India.

4. Comprehensive offering: No comprehensive platform offering (unlike Apple's combo of Mac OS+iOS, Microsoft's comprehensive Windows 8 for all devices and Google's recently launched Chromebook for PCs and existing Android for tabs/phones)

5. Regulatiry provisions: Regulatory requirements by the Indian government to provide a means to intercept the enterprise mail network may discourage corporates from placing trust on a network that was once considered to be totally secure.
