Nagarro registered 40% growth in its workforce in FY11. Credit for this goes to its baby-like yet important steps like expansion and redesigning of the organization after economic slowdown, into delivery and functional groups.

Nagarro calls itself a people-centric organization, works with prime focus on hiring, knowledge, efficiency, and employee satisfaction. In FY11, it hired 32% from the campuses from tier-3 and -4 cities and 68% from the market to make a sound base at the junior level. Nagarro is aiming to reach a size of 2,000 (presently 902) by 2013. So, it has invested in a 5-acre campus in Mahindra World City, Jaipur.

This year, many HR initiatives were rolled out to enhance employee knowledge, skills and satisfactionNagarro leadership council for Delivery (NLCD), Command Training on Technology (CTT), Governance and Operations Dashboard (GOD), and Internal Employee Satisfaction Survey. Through NCLD, they involve senior people of the company in defining and improving Nagarros work culture and project-processes. CTT is an initiative for outstanding performers who have the inclination to become technical architects in future. It is executed through workshops, assignment tasks, brainstorming sessions and blogs. GOD is a key initiative for project governance to improve the organizations project delivery capabilities. Internal Employee Satisfaction Survey was carried out to know about the positive and negatives of Nagarro support services like transport, cafeteria, admin and IT services, and payroll.

Nagarro ranks high (#9) on gender inclusivity with 22% female workforce. It has streamlined many HR initiatives specifically to ensure their security as well as career. Convenient transport facilities and flexi-timings, work-from-home, reduced working hours and sponsored day care facilities for working mothers have worked in Nagarros favor.
