BEL Recruitment 2021: Engineers can Apply for 19 Fresh Vacancies, Salary Rs 35,000

BEL Recruitment 2021 for engineers will begin shortly for 19 Project Engineer I vacancies at Bharat Electronics Limited’s K-FON Project of Missile Systems SBU, Bengaluru Unit. Selected candidates will be posted at various sites or districts across Kerala, therefore candidates willing to travel extensively across the state have been advised to apply. Those selected will be engaged initially for a period of one year which may be extended up to a maximum of four years and will be paid a salary of Rs 35,000, Rs 40,000, Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000 for the first, second, third year and fourth year of the contract, respectively.

The official notification available on the BEL website says that for the 19 Project Engineer I vacancies candidates with a BE or BTech in electronics, electronics and communication, electronics and telecommunication, telecommunication, electrical and electronics engineering or BE or BTech in mechanical engineering can apply.

The degree should have been obtained in first class in the indicated qualification for general, EWS and OBC candidates and pass class for SC, ST and PWD candidates, says the notification. Furthermore, applicants should have minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in OF cables, mounting accessories and their specifications, usage, and so on, and work experience in the telecom industry of which a minimum of one year of experience should be in the supervision of Ariel OF installation.

Selection Process for Recruitment in BEL

Candidates will be selected based on their aggregate marks attained in their degrees, which will be given 75 percent weightage; relevant post qualification experience carries ten percent weightage wherein 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post, 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks; and the interview will carry 15 percent weightage.
