BEL recruitment 2020 is now being carried out for apprentice vacancies at Bharat Electronics Limited, Bengaluru for which interested graduates can apply. Selected candidates will undergo training as “accountant” under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for a period of one year. The tenure of the apprenticeship may, however, be extended up to 3 years based on the candidate’s performance and approval from NAPS. Selected apprentices will be paid a stipend of up to Rs 10,500.

Who can Apply for BEL Recruitment 2020?

The notification available on the BEL website says that qualified Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) graduates who have passed after 1 June 2018 can apply for the vacancies. Candidates must have secured 60 percent and above for general and OBC, and 50 percent and above for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.

Interested candidates must be from the state of Karnataka, and must possess a degree or provisional degree certificate from a recognized board or university. The percentage, class or grade mentioned in the degree certificate of the qualifying examination will be considered for eligibility. Those who have acquired higher qualifications than BCom are not eligible to apply for the vacancies.

Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit, which is based on the marks scored in the examinations of SSLC/10th standard, PUC/12th Standard and BCom graduation. The selected candidates will be informed through SMS or E-Mail.

How to Apply for BEL Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply for the apprenticeship positions through the NAPS web portal before 8 August 2020. During the training period or after completion or termination of training, there will be no obligation on the part of BEL to offer any employment, says the notification.
