BEL Invites Applications for Apprenticeship Training, Stipend up to Rs 10,333

BEL has invited applications from ITI candidates to undergo Apprenticeship training in Bharat Electronics, Bengaluru for the year 2021-22

BEL has notified of apprenticeship positions available at its Bengaluru complex for ITI candidates. Applications have been invited from ITI candidates to undergo Apprenticeship training in Bharat Electronics for the year 2021-22 under Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, and will be paid a stipend of Rs 10,333 barring COPA and Welder trades who eill be paid Rs 9185 per month.

Who can Apply for BEL Apprenticeship Positions?

The notification issued on BEL website says that candidates who have passed ITI in the related trades on or after 1 January 2018, and have ITI certificates issued by NCVT or SCVT in the following trades can apply:

  • Electronics Mechanic
  • Fitter
  • Electrician
  • Machinist
  • Turner
  • Draftsmen Mechanic (DMM)
  • Electro Plater
  • Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (MR&AC)
  • Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA)
  • Welder

Only candidates from Karnataka can submit applications, and those who have undergone, undergoing or are already registered for Apprenticeship Training in any other establishment or organization are not eligible to apply for the BEL apprenticeship. There is an age limit of 21 years, which is relaxable by 5 years for SC or ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years to PWD candidates having minimum 40% disability.

How to Apply for BEL Apprenticeship?

Eligible candidates may apply for the positions by sending application in the prescribed format along with copies of 10thor SSLC marks card, ITI marks card, caste certificate and Aadhaar Card to Deputy Manager (HR/CLD), Centre For Learning And Development, Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli Post, Bengaluru 560013 before 30 June 2021. Selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in the examinations of SSLC or 10th standard and ITI. Applicants are advised to go through the notification in detail before submitting applications.
