BARC Recruitment 2021: Applications Invited for 20 Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 35,400

BARC recruitment 2021 for 20 new vacancies available at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mysuru. The vacancies available are that of driver-cum-pump operator-cum-fireman and sub-officer, and candidates must have completed 18 years but not more than 27 or 40 years for unreserved candidates and EWS candidates as on the last date of application for the vacancies, respectively. Maximum 5 years relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed in the case of candidates with longer experience and outstanding merit and to the Departmental candidates. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 35,400.

Who Can Apply for BARC Recruitment 2021?

The latest BARC recruitment notification says that there are 20 vacancies out of which 16 are driver-cum-pump operator-cum-fireman vacancies for which candidates with HSC, 10+2 in science with chemistry with a minimum of 50% of marks, and a valid heavy vehicle driving license with a minimum of one year driving experience along with certificate course in fire fighting equipments such as Fire Extinguisher from the State Fire Training Centres can apply.

For the 4 sub-officer vacancies, candidates with an HSC, 10+2 in science with chemistry or equivalent with 50% marks plus those who have passed sub officer’s course from National Fire Service College can apply. Also, persons having valid heavy vehicle driving licence will be preferred for the vacancies.

Applicants will be selected for the post based on their performance in the physical endurance test, driving test and written test which will be conducted in two stages. Only those who qualify in the physical endurance test will be allowed for the written test. Furthermore, there will be negative marking for the written test.
