BARC Invites Applications for 31 Research Associate Fellowships, Stipend Rs up to 54,000

BARC is currently seeking applications from candidates with a doctoral degree for 31 research associate fellowships that are available at the organisation

BARC has invited applications from candidates who have completed their PhD for 31 new research associate fellowships. The vacancies are available at various research and development projects in the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. Selected candidates will be engaged until the end of the project or for up to two years, and will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 47,000 to 54,000. Apart from the stipend, research associate fellows will be given a contingency grant of Rs 40,000 per year along with a house rent allowance where hostel accommodation is not available.

Who Can Apply for BARC Research Associate Fellowships?

According to the BARC notification for research associate fellowships, there are a total of 31 vacancies for which candidates who have completed a PhD in the following streams can apply:

Research project number 3 PhD in physics in the area of photonics or optical thin films with strong aptitude in photonics design software 1
Research project number 4 PhD in cryogenic engineering in the area of cryogenic fluid flow and heat transfer 1
Research project number 5 PhD in food and food related field, biochemistry, zoology, biotechnology, microbiology or dairy microbiology 3
Research project number 6 PhD in mechanical engineering or ME or MTech with three years R&D experience as on the final date of application. Specialization in design, material engineering, thermal engineering would be desirable 4

How to Apply for BARC Research Associate Fellowships?

Eligible candidates who are interested to apply for the vacancies will have to send their complete bio-data, one set of photocopies of mark-sheets, degree certificates, other academic credentials and work experience along with the duly filled-in application by post to Deputy Establishment Officer, Recruitment-V, Central Complex, BARC, Trombay, Mumbai 400085 superscribing the Research Project number on the envelope before 10 May 2021.
