Jugnoo, a leading mobile app, offering the largest network of auto-rickshaws in India, starts operations in Noida. As a part of its strategic expansion plan, Jugnoo recently launched its services in the national capital region, owing to the influx of migrated students and working professionals in the area. As a major chunk of this segment is dependent on local transport for daily conveyance, the launch of its services perfectly coincides with the existing requirements. Validating its stance is the number of users on Jugnoo, which has already reached around 34 thousand ever since its launch.
Commenting on the launch, Samar Singla, Founder and CEO, Jugnoo said, “We have been operational in Delhi and Gurgaon region since the beginning. Therefore, venturing into Noida is just a natural progression of our business, apart from the fact that it is a lucrative region. Residents of Noida without personal transport and the migrated populace there, mostly rely on the metro rail or the local transport, which is very inadequate in the region in addition to safety concerns. Jugnoo intends to counter these prolonged concerns of the city with this launch.”
In addition to NCR, Jugnoo is fully operational in 22 Indian cities. Jugnoo aspires to tap all the Indian cities and offer it’s on demand service to the entire country. A vast majority in the country that is dependent on affordable local transport have been very receptive to the idea ever since its launch. It aims at scaling 1 million transactions per day in the forthcoming months and is therefore aggressively launching itself in various cities in order to offer its services pan India.
