Aspire Systems Reinforces Executive team, Appoints Two New Leaders

Aspire Systems, the technology services firm, announced the recent appointments of two new senior leaders, strengthening its executive team. Arun John, who was earlier working with Intellect Design Arena, has been appointed as the Vice President of Corporate Development. Shankar Balasubramanian who headed the global delivery for Q4 System Corporation has now been appointed as the Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Solutions and Analytics Service Line.

Gowri Shankar Subramanian, co-founder and CEO, Aspire Systems said, “As we cross the landmark of 20 years as a company and are all set for the next phase of inorganic growth, Arun John’s expertise would be crucial to build our acquisitions pipeline. Arun John set up and led an offshore team for the Swiss bank UBS's Investment Bank for its financial institutions sector coverage group (FIG) based in London. During his career, Arun has had long associations with the Swiss Bank UBS’s Investment Bank and General Electric. Arun successfully led a team that comprehensively studied and estimated the impact of the global financial crisis in European Banks, and helped identify recapitalization opportunities. During his career, Arun has developed deep expertise in leading several strategic finance research assignments.

Shankar Balasubramanian began his career with TI Diamond Chains, a part of Murugappa Group and later joined the IT industry in 1997. He brings to Aspire nearly 2 decades of experience in Information Technology. Shankar has strong product expertise and solid experience in services developments in program management, business development and delivery. During his years with Secova and Mascon Global Limited, Shankar successfully delivered on Microsoft, Peoplesoft and Data Warehouse projects.
