While the issue of legalization of homosexuality has given way to heated
arguments in the power corridors in New Delhi, a Pakistani gay, who designed
that countrys first gay website has declared that he is in love (you guessed it
right), with an Indian man.
According to a report in DNA newspaper, the Pakistani gay named Hammad met
his Indian lover on the Internet, though they have not met each other personally
yet. And he knows the his love that transcends geographic boundaries cannot
bloom in either of the countries and hence he plans to get a job abroad where he
can live happily ever after with his partner as man and spouse!
My parents keep insisting that I get married or at least engaged. Maybe they
have sensed my chill toward girls, but that is the way we are supposed to be. We
are born this way we cant help it, the newspaper quoted him as saying.
Hamads website, Pakistangays.com, which is a paid site, has all the spices
that cater to the tastes of both gays, transgender and bisexuals and has a
membership base of nearly 570 people.
However, he is not very keen on coming out into the open to claim ownership
of the site, as he knows his parents as well as the society would not be able to
accept his bend of mind.
