AMD has signed a MoU with SemIndia to bring semiconductor-manufacturing
capabilities to India. The agreement will cover manufacturing, technology
licensing and business development to meet the growing demands for computers
based on x86 microprocessor in India. The Union IT Ministry has supported the
partnership.

leading microprocessors and manufacturing capabilities will enable SemIndia to
develop its own innovative solutions and expand the global market,"
