Amazon Prime now available at half the price for youth in India

Amazon announced that 18 to 24 year old customers can now get 50 percent (Rs 500) cashback on joining annual Prime membership of Rs 999. Customers can avail this offer by signing up for Amazon Prime and verifying their age on Amazon.in. Throughout the year, Amazon Prime members can avail free one-day and two-day delivery on tens of millions of items, early and exclusive access to deals and sale events on Amazon.in; unlimited ad-free music anytime with downloads on Alexa on Amazon Prime Music, the largest selection of current and exclusive movies and TV shows, Stand-Up Comedy, popular Indian and Hollywood films, US TV series, Indian and international kids’ shows, and Amazon Original Series, all available ad-free on Prime Video, and unlimited access to bestselling eBooks on Prime Reading.

Those who avail the offer ahead of Prime Day from 15 to 16 July, can gain access to thousands of deals at the lowest prices across smartphones, laptops, fashion, beauty, everyday essentials and more; along with blockbuster video titles, celebrity curated Amazon Prime Music playlists and more.

To avail the Youth Offer on Amazon Prime memberships, users have to sign up, verify and get cash back. 18 to 24 year old customers can visit www.amazon.in/prime on the Amazon app and sign up for the Prime annual membership from the ‘youth offer’ banner by paying Rs 999 with any electronic payment method (credit card, debit card, net banking or Amazon pay balance).

Customers must verify their age by uploading their PAN card, a proof of mailing address and a photo. Once verified, Rs 500 will be credited within 10 days to the customer’s Amazon Pay balance account. Customers can use the Amazon Pay cashback on all their purchases, bill payments and recharges on Amazon or at thousands of offline and online partner merchants including BookMyShow, Swiggy, Domino’s, Redbus and more where Amazon Pay is accepted.
