Allied expanded to more than 63 locations and boasted of clients like GAIL,
BPCL, HPCL, Air India, UB Group, and Reliance Industries. It broke from its
chosen path of dealing directly with the end-users and appointed dealers in
metros to tap the SMBs and SOHO segment for its Gateway PCs. It also formed a JV
with a Sri Lankan firm Ceylinco Networking Technologies (CNT) to offer security
products and solutions in the country. It floated another JV Alam Digital with a
company in Yemen.
