Airtel Introduces Rs 401 Plan with Disney+ Hotstar Subscription: All You Need to Know

Airtel has recently listed on its website a new recharge plan that costs Rs 401. The highlight of the plan is that Disney+ Hotstar has teamed up with Airtel to offers customers access to OTT content. Customers interested to opt for this plan may visit the prepaid plans listings on the official website.

Apart from offering one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar VIP content, the plan offers 3GB complimentary data along with 28 days' validity. The Disney+ Hotstar VIP membership otherwise costs Rs 365 per year, and offers access to dubbed Disney+ movies and kids content, new Indian movies, Hotstar specials, and unlimited live sports.

However, viewers need to note that the Airtel website does not mention any daily data limit, SMS or unlimited Local, STD or roaming calls along with this plan so far. Therefore there is currently no clarity on whether there needs to be an additional recharge that customers will have to opt for along with this plan.

The telecom leader's customers already have access to the Airtel Xtream platform, which offers access to over 10,000 movies, shows and documentaries along with live TV. The platform hosts content in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Bhojpuri as well is available to Airtel Thanks customers for free as part of their Platinum, Gold and Silver benefits.

Bharti Airtel recently also partnered with the global content leader Lionsgate, and Starzplay, the international premium subscription platform from Starz, to bring premium content from Lionsgate Play to customers in India.
