AIMK Kolkata Obtains 100% MBA Placement Rate in 2023 With Highest CTC Ever

In 2023, the two-year MBA degree at the Army Institute of Management in Kolkata (AIMK) saw a placement rate of 100 percent. 110 students are now enrolled in the degree, which provides dual specialisations in Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Business Analytics. 

Graduating students experienced a dramatic change in placement, obtaining several offers, the highest CTC ever (Rs 15 Lakh per year), a higher median pay (Rs 8 Lakh per year), and better job assignments than in previous years. All 110 graduates were offered jobs upon graduation in July, thanks to the more than 200 offers made by 76 companies to the graduating class.

The campus visit by retailers like Croma, H&M, Adidas, etc., with an offer to head the project management team for their new stores expanding across the Tier II cities, has been the highlight of the 2023 recruitment.

Campus recruitment efforts 

40% of the new recruiters were added to the roster of recruiters for 2023, while the remaining ones have been managing campus recruitment efforts for a while. Thank you for your innovative approach to preparing students to become corporate officers. The same training philosophy and methodology are being used on campus to train the students to become Corporate Officers. These techniques were adopted from the military institution where Army Officers are being prepared. The students receive 100 hours of specialised skill development training to help them become corporate leaders; the curriculum and methodology are based on the Army's training philosophy.
