AICTE PG Scholarship 2020: Online Application Date for Scholarship of Rs 12,400 per Month Extended

The last date to apply for AICTE PG Scholarship 2020 has been extended. Eligible students can now submit their online application as well as generate student IDs until 15 January 2021. AICTE PG scholarship 2020 aims at ensuring the development of technical education in India by rewarding full-time GATE or GPAT qualified students admitted to postgraduate programs approved by the All India Council for Technical Education with a monthly amount of Rs 12,400.

The scholarship will be provided for a maximum of two years, or for the duration of the course which means from the date of commencement till the date of completion of the classes. Students doing their Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture and Master of Pharmacy programs can apply for the AICTE PG scholarship 2020.

Important Details of the AICTE PG Scholarship 2020

• Institutes will have to upload the eligible postgraduate student’s details on the AICTE portal on or before 15 January 2021.
• Students undergoing postgraduate courses holding a valid GATE or GPAT score and admitted in AICTE approved programs or institutions will have to collect their unique ID from the institute and then login on the AICTE PG Scholarship 2020 portal to upload scanned copies of all original documents in JPEG or PDF format only.
• The documents that need to be uploaded are GATE or GPAT scorecard, first page of bank passbook of the Aadhar active savings bank account, and caste certificates if any.
• Foreign students, sponsored candidates and candidates admitted in postgraduate programs through management quota are not eligible for the scholarship.
• It will be mandatory for every postgraduate student rewarded with the scholarship to undertake 8 to 10 hours of work related to teaching and research activities per week as assigned to them by the institute.
