AICTE has invited applications from 10 plus 2 students in Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh for Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). As part of PMSSS, 5000 fresh scholarships per annum are offered each year to encourage the youth of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh to pursue higher studies outside the State of J&K.
The scholarship aims to provide academic fee, and maintenance allowance to bear expenses on hostel, mess and books to students belonging to Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh region who, after passing class XII or equivalent examination, secure admission in government colleges, institutions and other select institution of repute having NBA, NAAC, NIRF ranking and others centres of excellence outside the State of J&K.
Amount of Scholarship Provided by AICTE Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme
The details of the scholarship for students who have passed 10+2 examination from (JKBOSE or CBSE Schools located in J&K and Ladakh) in the academic year 2018-19 or 2019-20 are as follows:

How to Apply for AICTE Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply from 6 to 31 July 2020, and will have to visit the nearest facilitation centre for registration. Those interested to apply for the scholarships are advised to go through the official website in detail.
