AICTE Invites Applications from CBSE Teachers for Online Faculty Development Programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics

AICTE is currently offering 10 online Faculty Development Programmes in artificial intelligence and robotics for CBSE school teachers

AICTE has invited applications from interested CBSE school teachers for ten online Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) in artificial intelligence and robotics. The courses will be conducted from 26 October 2020 onwards, and the last date to register is 4 October 2020. The FDPs will be available free of cost to all participants.

Online registrations are open to faculty members of AICTE approved institutions and staff of host institutions. One participant can sign-up for a maximum of two FDPs, and not more than 30 percent faculty from the host institution can apply. The areas of FDPs are including those mentioned above are as follows: artificial intelligence, internet of things, robotics, quantum computing, data sciences, cyber security, 3D printing and design, augmented and virtual reality, design and media, and so on.

Interested CBSE teachers can register for the platform using their email address and phone number, and by providing other details such as name, gender, date of birth and password. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) through its newly established AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy has started unique faculty development programs in various thrust areas of modern technology.

200 such programs have already been conducted in various government institutions benefitting around 10,000 faculties, research scholars and PG students during the FY 19-20. Seeing the success of this initiative, AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy has announced to organize 500 AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy FDPs across the country for FY20-21, says the official website.
