AICTE internship 2022 has been announced yet again on the TULIP internship portal for 20,000 virtual internship opportunities in cybersecurity by Cisco for students. The initiative was launched last year for students in their second and third year. The program has been launched by Cisco, AICTE and NASSCOM Futureskills Prime and the 20,000 virtual internships in cybersecurity will be provided through the Cisco Networking Academy. At the end of the internship, students may receive an internship certificate depending on the quality of work.

However, participants need to note that this internship is not Cisco India's Standard Internship Program, which is being managed through Cisco's careers page but is a digital skilling initiative in partnership with AICTE and NASSCOM Futureskills Prime. The organisations aim at increasing the employability potential of students through this internship program. The courses that are currently available for students are cybersecurity courses called Introduction to Cybersecurity, which is optional and Cybersecurity Essentials, which is mandatory to become eligible to apply for the Cisco Networking Academy Virtual Internship.
