AICTE has begun the online registrations for Common Entrance Test on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CET-IE 2020) for the MBA or GDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV) Program for the year 2020-21. The program, which was started in 2019, is an initiative under the National Innovation and Startup Policy of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and the All India Council for Technical Education.

The course has been designed to help students acquire entrepreneurship skills and develop the skill set required for building startups. As part of the course students will get access to co-working space and facilities of pre-incubation and incubation to develop innovations.

Who Should Register for the AICTE CET-IE 2020?

Candidates who wish to enroll for the program should be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. Undergraduate students who are waiting for final year results may apply as well by clicking “Final Result Awaited” and upload a self-undertaking that he/she will furnish a certificate to institute at the time of personal interview.

Preferably, candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset and ideas, passion for innovation and strong determination to build and run a startup as a career must apply for this two-year full-time PGDM  or MBA program, says AICTE.

Important Dates

In order to get admission into the MBA program, students will have to undertake an online national level Common Entrance Examination on Innovation and Entrepreneurship CET-IE 2020, which is scheduled to be held on 5 September 2020. The online registrations for the same have already begun and will conclude on 28 August 2020. Candidates will receive their admit cards on 31 August 2020, and may also give mock tests on 1 and 2 September.
