AI startup Fractal enters Unicorn club

DeepTech startup Fractal enters the unicorn club after raising $360 million from global asset firm TPG.

Post the latest financing round Fractal has been valued at $1 Billion stated Co-founder Srikanth Velamakanni.

Mumbai and San Francisco based company provides AI solutions, including Qure.ai, assisting radiologists in diagnostic decisions; Samya.ai is eneterprise-focused and senseforth.ai provides automation of customer interactions. The company which will begin prep for IPO has Google as its customer among other Fortune 100 firms.

The transaction is expected to close by the first quarter of 2022 and as part of the deal, Puneet Bhatia and Vivek Mohan of TPG will join Fractal's board of directors.
