RelCom Acquires Yipes

Reliance Communications has received approval from Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) for the merger of the US-based Yipes Holdings. RelCom announced
the $300 mn acquisition of Yipes in July 2007. The transaction was closed on
December 19, 2007.

Syniverse Acquires BSG

Business solutions provider Syniverse Technologies has completed its
acquisition of the wireless services business of Billing Services Group (BSG).
The combined company serves more than 500 customers in over 100 countries with
the industrys broadest suite of voice and data roaming, financial
clearinghouse, messaging, and signaling services.

Microsoft Buys Multimap

Microsoft has acquired the UK-based Multimap, an online mapping services
company. The acquisition gives Microsoft a new location and mapping technology
to complement existing offerings such as Virtual Earth, Live Search, Windows
Live services, MSN, and the aQuantive advertising platform, with future
integration potential for a range of other Microsoft products and platforms.

Genesys Buys Informiam

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, an Alcatel-Lucent company, has acquired
Informiam, a privately held company. This move expands the Genesys portfolio of
reporting and analytic software. The acquisition extends Alcatel-Lucents
investment to grow its enterprise business.
