JK Technosoft, a software solutions, consulting and education provider, has entered into a strategic tie-up with Japanese software business consulting firm ABeam Consulting which boasts to offer business consulting to more than 700 clients in 21 countries. The alliance is said to enable both the companies to increase their strength in India and Asian countries.
Aimed at providing globally managed services/outsourcing projects, especially in the area of SAP, the alliance will help ABeam to register its footprint in the Indian market where a number of Japanese companies are setting up new plants and increasing their strength. Until now, Abeam did not have presence in India and was finding it difficult to service its existing customers in the geography.
According to Abhishek Singhania, managing director at JKT, "ABeam has strong management and business consulting background along with a strong clientele which will benefit JKT. While JKT will help ABeam to service its customers in the Indian geography in the first place and take this relationship further in Asia."
In a written statement, the companies have agreed to compliment each other's strengths in their respective markets by cooperating on both pre-sales and project delivery activities. Both companies will work together to develop the alliance's potential through the expanded use of the each other's consulting experience and resources, infrastructure, joint go-to-market strategies and joint undertaking of projects.
Singhania did not divulge any details on the monetary investments that are going into the alliance. He, however, said that they would make required incremental moves to take their partnership forward and use ABeam's name. While the alliance is set to open doors for ABeam ($600 mn company) in India, JKT (Rs 80 crore company) will be able to scale its business in Asia and other geographies.
