The favourable response to its mySAP.com e-business platform launched in July 2000 enforced the fact that there was a clear move away from ‘point solutions’ to more comprehensive and integrated solutions. The mysap.com suite, that links the CRM/SCM initiatives of an organization with the ERP backbone, also gained from the market slowdown and dot-com bust.
