 After having gone through the pains of transforming itself into a software development and services export company, Digital Equipment India began to ramp up operations in 2000-01, its first full year of operations. India is the only country where this 100% subsidiary of Compaq uses the Digital name and logo. It grew over 200% this year to clock Rs 184 crore (due to a change in the accounting year). Over last year’s annualized figures, it still grew by 110%.
