| Chennai-based peripherals major TVS Electronics garnered a turnover of Rs 224 crore for the year ended December 2000 with a growth of 32% over the previous year. The company emerged as a leader in the dot matrix printer segment, selling 132,000 units at a value of Rs 114 crore. Meanwhile, it also made good strides in other product categories like UPS systems (Rs 30 crore), keyboards (Rs 26 crore) and non-impact printers (Rs 25 crore). |
