| Pune-based Zensar Technologies has been growing well every year and showed a good growth rate of 58% this year. Against 31.2% in 1998-99, it grew this year to Rs 226.3 crore. Despite this showing, and with other software exporters growing at 60%, Zensar fell off the Top 20 software exporters’ list. Gross and net profits grew by over 20 %, but operating margins fell from 14% to 13%. This could be because Zensar gets a bulk of its revenues from IT-enabled services. |
