This Mumbai-based hardware training vendor earned Rs 31 crore in 2000-01, up 65% from its 1999-00 revenue of Rs 19
crore. Its net profit, though, almost doubled from Rs 73 lakh to Rs 1.38
crore. In 2000-01, 20,000 students were enrolled in its 60 centers. The company, in tune with its vision of becoming a global IT training company, opened offices in the US and West Asia. It launched
Smartrain, a learning methodology pioneered by Bob Pike, which involves yoga.
