| Pondicherry-based Nexus Computers earned revenues of Rs 43.8 crore in fiscal 2000-01, against the previous year’s Rs 42.7 crore. The company sold 1,228 IBM systems for Rs 21.6 crore, while its own branded systems fetched another Rs 12.2 crore. A good move by Nexus was to launch operations in Singapore. It forged a JV with V-One Multimedia and commenced operations as Nexus Global Systems, focussing on networking, software and implementation services for SMEs. |
